Moloney Wedding | Derbyshire Wedding DJ Hire

Derbyshire is a beautiful rural setting and back in October we had the pleasure of working there at the wedding of Sarah & Liam, Mr & Mrs Moloney.

The venue for the day was Grangefields wedding venue on the stunning Trusley Estate. Grangefields is a beautiful rustic setting with barns surrounded by rolling fields and views.

Grangefields is equipped with its very own State-of-the-art ‘Funktion-One’ sound system. They also have high quality mood lighting and a large disco ball which really help to create that party theme. All of the staff at Grange Barn are extremely helpful. It was nice to have some great equipment to work with.

Wedding DJ Derbyshire

Sarah & Liam gave me a fantastic, varied song list to work with including everything from Motown to Indie and some Disco.

I used their suggestions and pulled together a playlist with some disco, 80’s, 90’s house classics along with some of the boy and girl band 90’s. I also added a couple of Irish anthems which went down well with the Irish relations attending.

The happy couple chose Don McLean – American Pie as the penultimate track of the evening. The couple finished on the classic of Oasis – Don’t Look Back in Anger. Everyone was on the dancefloor singing and dancing together. We couldn’t stop there so Sarah and her friends added one more with the evening finally ending on Westlife – Flying Without Wings.
